Excuse me?

I hate to admit it, but I love to make excuses.  For example, yesterday I googled "great depression and today comparison".  I was looking for a reason to find out why I'm in such a funk lately.  Turns out I was wrong.  But hey, at least I know how to have fun. I have to be honest things are getting better.  It appears the economy is growing and more jobs are out there.  But why is it that people are giving up?  I gave up for personal reasons.    And it is becoming more evident to me that I have a lot to learn.  One thing that is clearer lately is that elders know the best.   Americans should never give up.  And we don't.
